Proper Way Of Washing Hands, Its Sunnah!

WASHING THE HANDS ACCORDING TO SUNNAH OF OUR PROPHET MUHAMMAD SAW

Washing our hands based on studies done by WHO and other Medical Experts is one of the most effective ways of getting rid the corona virus germs or any other germs. It is also the Sunnah of our prophet Muhammad saw.

Cleanliness is of utmost importance when we are faced with this pandemic corona virus. Washing our hands is what we need to do frequently. This is because our hands will be touching many objects and surfaces especially our face as it is normal to do so.

Washing our hands are especially essential before we eat our food. Below is the sunnah way of washing our hands so the germs will not stick to our hands.

Follow these nine steps of washing our hands every time.

Before washing our hands, recite In the name of Allah, the merciful and the beneficient

1. Use the soap

Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.

2. Rub Palms Together

Rub your hands palm to palm in circular motions. Rotate clockwise and anticlockwise.

3. Lather the backs of our hands

Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers by rubbing them together with the soap

4. Interlink Your Fingers

Interlace your fingers together, facing each other, into clasped hands. Then rub your palms and fingers together.

5. Clean the Thumbs

Enclose your right hand around your left thumb and rub as you rotate it, then swap.

6. Clean the fingernails

Clean the fingernails by scrubing on the base of our palm…

7. Clean and scrub our wrists

Wash and scrub our wrists until it is clean

8. Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.

9. Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.

Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Wash it 3 times the way our prophet did. In sha Allah
